A Meditation Day Course

Buddha explained that our own karma is the main cause of both our suffering and our happiness. At this one-day course, Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Lhachog will explain the law of karma and how we can use this understanding to transform our life into the path to happiness:

• Understand the law of karma in detail
• Discover how this understanding will solve all your problems
• Purify the past and remove the obstacles to your happiness
• Use meditation to uproot the cause of your pain
• Create the positive future experiences you want

Everybody is welcome to attend this course, regardless of experience. During the day you will receive practical teachings that are specifically related to understanding karma. The course will also include short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve your ability to solve your daily problems effectively. In the last session of the day there will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa World Peace Temple in Surry Hills. With over 20 years experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings in a way that is practical, clear and easy to apply to our daily life.
