Take some time out of your busy life to deepen your meditation practice at this special away retreat in the tranquil Yengo Valley National Park.
About the Retreat
This retreat presents a special opportunity to immerse ourself in meditation and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the company of like-minded people. Starting with a welcoming introduction on Friday evening and finishing with lunch on Sunday, the weekend will include teachings as well as plenty of time for meditation and relaxation.
On this retreat you will be guided through a series of meditations that will enable you to access the purity and clarity that naturally arises when your mind becomes still. These meditations will give rise to a deep experience of mental calm, have a transformative effect on our life and enable us to keep a peaceful and happy mind all the time, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
The retreat will be held at Noonaweena, 1442 George Downes Drive, Kulnura NSW 2250 – a stunning 100 acre property overlooking Yengo National Park. The solitude and beauty of the landscape, along with the luxury of the venue, provide the perfect space for both renewal and reflection.
The Teacher of this course is Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at Mahasiddha Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney. Lhachog is an inspiring example of modern Buddhism in practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness.
