Workshop Description

In our troubled world, it is increasingly difficult to ward off anxiety and stress. We can easily feel overwhelmed and unable to move ahead with what we want to achieve in life.

In this short course you will learn 3 methods that Buddha taught to reduce anxiety and eventually overcome anxiety altogether.

Even though Buddha taught more than 2500 years ago, his methods, bought to life by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso still hold true today.

Though learning how to control our mind, rather than allowing it to control us, we can stay cool, calm and collected in all situations.

The Teacher

The teacher of this course is Kelsang Jangsem. He has been practising meditation and Buddhism since 1997 and presents Buddha’s teachings in a light and inspiring manner, showing through his example how to incorporate Buddha’s teachings into daily life.

Workshop Format

Over two sessions (both one and a quarter hours long), you’ll learn 3 ways to reduce and eventually eliminate anxiety. You’ll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by a Buddhist monk and teacher with many years of meditation experience. A delicious home-made morning tea will be served in the break to give you time to relax, absorb the teachings and get to know each other. Everyone is welcome.
