Breaking Bad Habits

Sunday Morning Workshop

Sun 13 Feb · In-Person & Online

We all do, say and think things we wish we didn’t – whether it’s too much scrolling, a tendency to snap at friends or family, over-thinking or unhealthy consumption. These bad habits, driven by uncontrolled desire, get in the way of our happiness and stop us living the life we want. It is possible to learn how to break these bad habits.

Habits create a well-worn groove in our mind, and it can feel like we have little choice in the matter. Yet once we understand the underlying cause of all our unhelpful habits of body, speech and mind, we can know how to break bad habits – using meditation to gain mastery over our mind – and access an experience of genuine contentment and inner peace.

Everybody is welcome to attend this workshop, regardless of experience. You will receive practical teachings on how to break bad habits, as well as short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve your ability to solve your daily problems effectively.

Our online classes and events are for anyone living in Greater Sydney & Wollongong areas. If you live elsewhere, you can search for a local centre here. If you can’t find a centre near you, feel free to email us at to find out how to access classes.
