Workshop Description

Last year’s text
We often feel plagued by a sense that we need to do better, without knowing how to make real change. Buddha’s teachings show the way to an empowering confidence that allows us to accept ourself wholeheartedly. Learn to let go of the burden of self-consciousness and the tendency for unhealthy self-criticism, and embrace a lighter, more compassionate and realistic sense of self.

Workshop Format

Over two sessions (both one and a quarter hours long), you’ll receive teachings on how to find pure happiness, and be guided through a series of meditations to deepen your experience of this happiness. You’ll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by a Buddhist nun and teacher with many years of meditation experience. A delicious home-made morning tea will be served in the break to give you time to relax and absorb the teachings. Everyone is welcome.
