Each and every one of us has the capacity to live a deeply happy and joyful life. Yet too often, ingrained negative patterns of thinking leave us feeling unhappy and stressed. Modern Buddhism presents the meditation and positive thinking techniques we need to live the life we wish for.

Choose happiness for 2020. At this inspirational public talk in the Sydney CBD, international teacher Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will explain the methods that free us from negative emotions, making joy and happiness our everyday reality. Everyone is welcome.

The Teacher

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is a retired General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and is currently the National Spiritual Director of Canada. He has trained closely with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over thirty-five years. An internationally-renowned teacher and English Buddhist monk, Gen-la is greatly admired for his powerful teachings as well as his pure example of humility and loving-kindness.

Arriving by public transport
A variety of public transport options are available (bus, train and ferry), with stations a short walk away from the Conservatorium. If you would like to drive, metered parking is available along Macquarie Street and secure car parking is available at 131 Macquarie Street, (3 minutes walk from the Conservatorium).
