Mirror of Dharma

Guided Meditation Retreats
Week 1 Training in Contemplation: 9-13 Jan
Week 2 Training in Meditation: 23-27 Jan

Make your New Year very Special

Join us this January for a unique opportunity to journey more deeply into Buddha’s profound wisdom.

Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lhachog will guide us through a series of meditations that lead us directly to inner peace. These meditations will be based on the new book – The Mirror of Dharma With Additions – by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Training in Contemplation | Jan 9-13

Gen Lhachog will guide our training in contemplation according to the special instructions presented in Part One of The Mirror of Dharma With Additions. We will practise the sadhana of Avalokiteshvara, placing particular emphasis on training in purifying and transforming the six classes of living being. This blissful practice is a very blessed instruction that comes from the Ganden Emanation Scripture.

Training in Meditation | 23-27 Jan

Gen Lhachog will lead the special sequence of 15 meditations taught in Part Two of The Mirror of Dharma with Additions with particular emphasis on how to integrate these meditations into our daily life. Through these meditations we learn how to use all living beings as the objects of our compassion and patience, and all phenomena as the objects of our training in emptiness. There is no greater Dharma practice than this.

The Peace of Mind we Seek

By engaging in retreat, we bring our attention inwards and focus on meditation practice. When we train in meditation our mind becomes peaceful and controlled, and when our mind is peaceful we are happy all the time even if our external conditions are poor.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Lhachog, Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney, will guide all retreat sessions. With over 20 years experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings in a way that is practical and easy to apply to daily life.
