Dispelling Discouragement

In-Depth Sunday Morning Workshop

Sun 6 Mar · In-Person & Online

When I find myself assailed by a host of delusions,
I will oppose them in a thousand ways.
Like a lion among a group of foxes,
I will not allow myself to be harmed by delusions.

Shantideva in Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life

Meditation and spiritual practice are the key to the deep and lasting joy we want in our life – but sometimes it can all feel too hard. For our meditation to work well, we need to delight in it.

At this in-depth morning workshop, Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Lhachog will share the methods to ward off discouragement in our meditation practice. Refresh your inspiration and wisdom so you stay uplifted, encouraged and determined on your journey to purity.

Everybody is welcome to attend this workshop, regardless of experience.
You will receive practical teachings on inspiration and encouragement from a Buddhist perspective, as well as short guided meditations that will improve the strength and stability of your mind, and improve your ability to solve your daily problems effectively.
