How Our Epping Meditation Classes Work

Meditation classes run every Wednesday throughout the year, with classes grouped into different themed series.

Each class is self-contained, so you can join at any time — come for one class, a whole series, or keep coming as new series begin.

Current series: Breathe Easy | 17 Aug–7 Sept
Next series: The Inner Science of Happiness | from 14 Sept

Breathe Easy: Simple Meditations to Reduce Anxiety

Anxiety can make it feel as though our thoughts, emotions and circumstances have power over us, leaving us feeling overwhelmed or unable to switch off.

Over four weeks, you’ll explore a variety of breathing meditations and practical Buddhist wisdom that help you gradually develop a calmer, more peaceful mind. Rather than simply managing anxious feelings, you’ll begin building the inner confidence and habits that naturally lead to greater freedom and wellbeing.

Each class includes practical teachings, guided meditations and time to reflect on how these methods can be applied in everyday life.

What to Expect at a Meditation Class

Each class includes:

  • a relaxing breathing meditation
  • practical Buddhist teachings
  • a second guided meditation related to the topic
  • simple methods to use in daily life

No previous meditation experience is needed. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators.

Everyone is welcome.
