Freedom of Forgiveness

Sun 14 May | 10am-1pm

Half Day Course

Freedom of Forgiveness

Forgive others, let go of the past!

Workshop Description

Forgiveness is a strong and courageous mind that frees us from unnecessary pain.

By dwelling on past harm and blaming others, we continue to harm ourselves. Buddha’s teachings illuminate the real source of our problems.

Through this wisdom, we can learn to forgive others, let go of the past, and move in the direction of healthy, loving relationships and a happy life.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney will teach this workshop. With 25 years’ experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings with sincerity and kindness, in a way that is clear and easy to apply to our daily life.

Workshop Format

Over two sessions (both one and a quarter hours long), you’ll receive teachings on forgiveness – a strong and courageous mind that frees us from unnecessary pain. You’ll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by a Buddhist nun and teacher with many years of meditation experience. A delicious home-made morning tea will be served in the break to give you time to relax and absorb the teachings. Everyone is welcome.
