2,500 years after the passing of Buddha, his example and teachings still resonate. This half-day course will explain the essential principles of the Buddhist way of life and how we can gain personal benefit from applying these teachings in our busy modern life. We will also learn how we can use meditation as a tool for developing good qualities such as inner peace, love and compassion.
This course is perfectly suited for those developing an interest in Buddhism as well as those who simply wish to lead their life with more meaning, wisdom and compassion.

Everybody in the Greater Sydney and Wollongong areas is welcome to attend this livestreamed event, regardless of experience. It will include practical teachings and guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve your ability to solve your daily problems effectively. There will be an interactive Q&A at the close of the course via Facebook Messenger.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at the KMC Sydney in Surry Hills. With 25 years’ experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings in a way that is practical, clear and easy to apply to our daily life.
