Karma with Gen Rabten
Wednesday Night Lecture
Karma with Gen Rabten

Join us on Wednesday 13 December at 7:30pm for this special one off Wednesday Night Lecture on Karma with Gen Kelsang Rabten

Description

Why do things turn out the way they do? Is there an ingredient missing in our recipe for happiness and success? Do we have much more influence over our experiences than we realise? Buddha discovered a secret law that shapes all of the events in our life – the law of Karma. When we live in harmony with this law, we become able to create the life we want to live.

For an informal exploration of this important insight, come along to this Wednesday Night Lecture on Karma with western Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Rabten.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or beliefs. The talk and discussion afterwards is in the spirit of sharing, bring an open mind and enjoy a thought provoking evening with others interested in the deeper questions of life.

$15 per person, free for KMC Sydney Centre Members.

Book now to guarantee your seat in the temple.

What to expect

Where our Wednesday night in-depth class differs from our regular meditation and Buddhism classes is that depending on the specific meditation taught, extra preparatory practices in the form of longer prayers may be included.  Classes include Buddha’s teachings on subjects such as rebirth, karma, renunciation, the precious mind of bodhichitta and more.  This class is perfect for those wishing to deepen their understanding of these subjects but are unable to attend one of our study programs with commitments.
