Lean In To Happiness

Sun 2 Apr | 10am-1pm

Half Day Course

Let go and fully embrace the moment.

Workshop Description

Even though we want to be happy all the time, sometimes we’re afraid to let go and fully embrace the moment. When we allow ourselves to lean in to the experience of pure happiness, we find a deep inner peace and contentment that is profoundly comfortable and reliable.

We don’t need to be afraid – learn how to lean in to pure happiness at this morning workshop.

You'll come away knowing how to:

  • Identify true happiness

  • Cultivate a deep experience of happiness

  • Embrace the moment you’re in

  • Find peace and contentment

  • Overcome your fears of disappointment

Workshop Format

Over two sessions (both one and a quarter hours long), you’ll receive teachings on how to identify and develop real, everlasting happiness, and be guided through a series of meditations to deepen your experience of this. You’ll have the opportunity to have your questions answered by a Buddhist nun and teacher with many years of meditation experience. A delicious home-made morning tea will be served in the break to give you time to relax and absorb the teachings. Everyone is welcome.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney will teach this workshop. With 25 years’ experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings with sincerity and kindness, in a way that is clear and easy to apply to our daily life.
