If we wish to experience happiness and good fortune in our lives we need to accumulate merit. Merit, or positive energy, comes from positive actions and enables us to fulfil all our wishes including our spiritual wishes to improve our mind and attain enlightenment.
The practice of offering mandalas is one of the best ways to accumulate this merit and has been used by Buddhists for generations. Through the practice of offering mandalas our mind will gradually become more calm and peaceful and we will make swift, easy progress along the spiritual path.
Deepening Our Faith
During this retreat, we also have the opportunity to strengthen our connection with our Spiritual Guide through the practice of Guru Yoga. By mentally offering the mandala to our Spiritual Guide, we deepen our faith and draw closer to this supreme spiritual friend.
Each session lasts for an hour and a half and consists of chanted meditation and a period of silence for offering mandalas. You can attend any or all of the retreat sessions.
