Meditation & Modern Buddhism: Classes Across Sydney

We live every moment of our life through our mind. Our mind dictates every aspect of our experience; it shapes our relationships, our successes and failures – and it drives all our happiness and suffering.

Yet if someone was to ask you exactly what your mind is, how would you answer? Most of us have no clear answer. This is because we do not understand the nature and function of the mind correctly.

At these weekly classes across Sydney and online, discover Buddha’s explanation of your mind, and how it works. With these precious and powerful insights, we can start to gain a deeper understanding of our own mind, and learn how to gain mastery of it. This is the key to becoming happier.

Meet Our Teachers

Our Resident Teacher

Gen Kelsang Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney, and teaches our in-depth classes including Wednesday nights, and our Sunday meditation workshops. She is an Australian Buddhist nun who has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 25 years. Gen Lhachog is an inspiring example of Modern Buddhism in practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness.
