A Guided Meditation Retreat to draw closer to the pure loving kindness of Buddha Maitreya

Retreat Description

At this morning retreat, learn how to engage in the profound and powerful methods to become pure at heart – allowing the essence of loving kindness to radiate from Buddha Maitreya’s heart into yours.

Join this unique opportunity to engage in guided retreat with Gen Kelsang Lhachog, Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney.

This retreat is the perfect follow up to the Empowerment of Buddha Maitreya the previous week, on Sun 15 May. Both beginners and experienced practitioners will find this retreat inspiring and helpful.

This retreat enables us to:

  • ripen our potential for pure love
  • strengthen our deep connection with Buddha Maitreya
  • remove obstacles to our relationships with others
  • strengthen our peace of mind
  • enjoy improving our concentration with blessings

Everybody is welcome to attend this guided retreat, regardless of experience – as long as you have received the empowerment of Buddha Maitreya or Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments. You will receive an explanation of the practice, and be guided in blissful meditations on pure loving kindness.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney will guide the retreat. Gen Lhachog is an inspiring example of modern Buddhism in practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness.
