Retreat Description

Take some time out and enjoy a Sunday morning at our tranquil meditation centre in Surry Hills. Over three one-hour sessions with breaks for refreshments, immerse yourself in a series of gentle guided meditations to refresh, uplift and inspire your mind. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, positive and stress-free.

So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many problems, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. Through meditation practice, we can reduce this stress.

At this guided meditation retreat with Buddhist teacher Katrina Stucki, you’ll experience a calm, spacious feeling in your mind which makes everyday problems easier to deal with and brings about a natural feeling of contentment.

Enjoy a morning out with a difference. Homemade morning tea will be served.

The retreat consists of 3 sessions, with two short breaks for refreshments. In each session, you’ll receive tips on how to enjoy meditation practice, and be guided in both analytical and placement meditation.

Everybody is welcome to attend this retreat, regardless of experience. You will receive inspiration and information on how to meditate, and how to make your mind calm and peaceful regardless of your external circumstances.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask all your questions on meditation and living with wisdom to an experienced teacher.

The Teacher

Katrina Stucki will guide this retreat. With over 15 years’ experience in teaching meditation, Katrina is able to guide people to an experience of inner peace with gentleness and skill. She explains Buddha’s teachings with great kindness, warmth and humility and shows us how to practically apply meditation to the real-world situations we encounter in our daily life.

Receive guidance from an experienced teacher on positive attitudes, happiness and meditation. Whether you’re coming along in person or joining the livestream, you’ll be able to ask all your questions about how to feel happier, clear away negativity from your mind, and on using meditation to increase your inner peace.
