Take some time out and enjoy a day at the Temple immersing yourself in a series of gentle guided meditations to refresh, uplift and inspire your mind. Relax and rejuvenate and go back into your life feeling calm, positive and stress-free.
The retreat will run from 10am-3pm, and will consist of 3 one-hour meditation sessions. Each session includes two guided meditations and a practical teaching that you can use to stay calm and peaceful in daily life.
The Kadampa World Peace Temple in Surry Hills is an oasis of peace on the edge of the city. During this day retreat you will have the opportunity to enjoy the peace of the Temple itself and to experience inner peace through meditation. During session breaks you can relax with a cup of tea, borrow one of our library books and find a quiet spot to read or simply enjoy the company of other retreat attendees. We’ll be serving a delicious vegetarian lunch.
